FRANKFURT, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 124.64 points, or 0.81 percent, to close at 15,587.36 points.
Energy group RWE won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 4.49 percent. Publicly traded meal-kit company HelloFresh and European multinational online food-delivery service Delivery Hero gained 4.01 percent and 3.71 percent respectively.
Chemical and consumer goods company Henkel, international pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment supplier Sartorius and European health care company Fresenius SE were the top three losers among the blue chips, down 0.95 percent, 0.75 percent and 0.73 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most-traded share, with a turnover of 295.59 million euros (342.69 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, rose 0.65 percent to close at 1.540 euros per share.
